About the Role
As a Medior Functional Analyst, you will be a key player in bridging the gap between financial business needs and IT solutions. Your role will focus on analyzing complex business requirements and translating them into detailed functional specifications for the development and optimization of financial systems. You will work closely with stakeholders across departments to ensure that IT solutions effectively meet the strategic goals of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the gathering and analysis of business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for IT teams.
- Evaluate and recommend software solutions that align with financial processes and objectives.
- Create comprehensive documentation, workflows, and business process models (BPMN) to support system implementations.
- Collaborate with business, IT, and finance teams to ensure seamless alignment of solutions with financial goals and compliance requirements.
- Oversee testing and validation processes to ensure systems meet functional and business requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive initiatives to enhance system efficiency.
Required Skills
Master’s degree in IT, Business, Finance, or a related field.Entrepreneurial mindset.Interest in the financial sector.Proven experience in functional analysis, preferably within the financial sector.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with deep knowledge of financial systems and business processes.Proficiency in business process modeling (BPMN) and creating functional specifications.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.Fluent in Dutch and / or French, and English.Our Offer
