Chief Systems Engineer - Relocation Spain

At Oesia Group, we are growing! Join our team as Chief Systems Engineer – Relocation Spain to oversee a critical project located in Madrid, Rivas Vaciamadrid. This is a hybrid work mode role.

Job Details

8+ years of experience in systems engineering.
Degree in Aeronautical, Industrial, Electronic, Telecommunications Engineering or related field.
Hybrid work model.
Full‑time schedule.
Location : Madrid, Rivas Vaciamadrid.

Requirements

Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field.

7+ years of experience in systems engineering, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.

Proven track record in complex system development within defense, aerospace, or secure technology sectors.

Strong knowledge of requirements management, architecture modeling, and integration strategies.

Experience with tools such as DOORS, Enterprise Architect, Cameo, or similar.

Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder‑management skills.

Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead the systems engineering strategy, processes, and methodologies across multidisciplinary projects.

Define and validate system architectures, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.

Oversee requirements engineering, traceability, and system‑level specifications.

Coordinate system integration across hardware, firmware, software, and external interfaces.

Supervise verification and validation activities, including test planning, execution, and certification.

Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., MIL‑STD, DO‑178C, DO‑254, ISO / IEC).

Act as a technical authority in design reviews, risk assessments, and trade‑off studies.

Mentor and guide systems engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical rigor.

Collaborate with program managers, clients, and internal stakeholders to align system solutions with project goals.

Drive adoption of model‑based systems engineering and digital engineering practices.
