Bilingual (NL/FR) Consulting Engineer

In order to strengthen the positive impact that the team achieves on the technical and energy performance of millions of m² of commercial buildings in Belgium, we are looking for an experienced consulting engineer.

We are therefore looking for a manager responsible for monitoring, controlling and optimizing technical installations (HVAC, electricity, regulation, plumbing, fire protection, etc.) on a portfolio of commercial buildings. in Brussels and Flanders , who can also play the role of maintenance controller.

Job Description

• You conduct technical audits, diagnostics and assessments of HVAC and multi-technical installations.
• You monitor the proper execution of preventive and corrective maintenance operations carried out by maintenance providers.
• You identify anomalies, deviations or malfunctions, propose corrective actions and guide the implementation of these actions.
• You analyze the energy performance of installations and contribute to the implementation of technical or regulatory optimizations.
• You provide technical assistance to clients in the diagnosis and technical resolution of complex problems.
• You verify regulatory compliance and the safety of the facilities (periodic checks, technical documentation, applicable standards).
• You are supervising renovation work on technical installations.
• You approve the price quotes submitted by the maintenance providers.
• You create multi-year investment plans for our clients.
• You write maintenance control reports, technical status reports or expert reports for clients.

Required profile

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in HVAC, electromechanics, technical installations maintenance or equivalent
• Proven experience in the maintenance of commercial buildings (offices, hospitals, schools, shopping centers, etc.), whether through maintenance control missions or through experience with an operator
• In-depth knowledge HVAC systems, regulation and energy efficiency principles
• Interpersonal skills and Sufficient command of Dutch and French to write technical reports and independently conduct meetings with clients
• Proficiency in office software (Microsoft Office Suite)
• Initiative and adaptability to diverse situations
• Ability to analyze, diagnose, and propose concrete improvements
• Rigorous, results-oriented, autonomous, and able to work in a team
