We are looking for a Consultant VAT Compliance to join our Brussels-based indirect tax team.
This entry-level position is designed for recent graduates who want to build long-term expertise in VAT. You will join a close-knit team work directly with senior specialists and partners and follow a structured methodology designed to support continuous learning and long-term technical development.
This role is well-suited to someone who wants to develop deep VAT expertise in a collaborative environment.
Your Responsibilities
- Prepare and review VAT returns under supervision for Belgian and international clients
- Analyze accounting data to ensure VAT compliance
- Support VAT registrations and compliance processes
- Assist in responding to information requests from tax authorities
- Monitor VAT legislative developments with guidance from senior team members
- Apply and progressively master our internal VAT methodology
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and technical development
Your Profile
- Masters degree in Tax Law Law Business Economics or a related field
- Recent graduate or early-career professional with experience in tax or VAT
- Strong interest in developing long-term expertise in VAT
- Structured detail-oriented and well-organized
- Able to manage deadlines and maintain quality under pressure
- Curious proactive and eager to learn
- Team-oriented and comfortable working in close collaboration
- Fluent in English; Dutch or French is a strong asset
- Based in or willing to work from Brussels
Technical Skills
- Solid Excel skills
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office
- Any experience with VAT or reporting tools is a plus
