Mackenzie Stuart are currently partnered with a firm that are seeking an experienced and commercially driven M&A Director to lead and execute strategic transaction initiatives across multiple geographies. This role is not limited to a single market and will support a broad mandate including buy-side acquisitions, sell-side processes, carve-outs, and other transformational initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of M&A transactions, including buy-side, sell-side, carve-outs, and strategic partnerships
• Manage all phases of the deal lifecycle: origination, evaluation, due diligence, structuring, negotiation, and execution
• Drive detailed financial analysis, valuation, and investment cases
• Partner with senior stakeholders to define and execute inorganic growth strategies
• Manage external advisors including banks, consultants, legal and tax specialists
• Deliver sell-side mandates and carve-out transactions, including operational separation considerations
• Support integration planning and execution where relevant

Experience

• 10+ years of experience in M&A, corporate development, investment banking, or transaction advisory
• Strong exposure to both buy-side and sell-side transactions
• Proven experience with complex or high-profile xlxgzvr deals, including carve-outs or multi-entity separations
• Demonstrated track record of independently leading transactions

Skillset

• Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical capabilities
• Commercial mindset with strong negotiation and influencing skills
• Ability to operate in fast-paced, evolving environments with high autonomy
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
