Mission Description :
A leading pharmaceutical company is seeking an Expert Brand and Customer Manager (BCM) to join their Oncology Business Unit for Belgium & Luxembourg.
Purpose of the Role :
As part of the Oncology Business Unit, you will focus on the Women’s Cancer portfolio (specific tumor indications to be determined) and report to the Franchise Lead WC-GI-CDx. You will be responsible for defining and implementing marketing and promotional strategies to support the growth of the Oncology portfolio. This role requires close cross-functional collaboration with medical affairs, sales, digital & data analytics, market access, and other teams to execute the Oncology Business Unit strategy.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Translate local market and customer insights into an integrated brand plan, aligned with global / regional strategies and overall product objectives.
- Proactively adapt the brand plan in response to a dynamic environment, customer insights, market research, and promotional analysis to maximize brand potential.
- Serve as the brand, competitor, and market expert for assigned indications.
- Deliver impactful marketing initiatives and materials to drive performance.
- Maximize the use of commercial and medical channels, leveraging digital and print to ensure optimal customer engagement.
- Share and implement best practices across the oncology business unit and regional teams.
- Build strong relationships and collaborate closely with the sales team to gather insights, align on brand strategy, and translate customer needs into promotional materials and campaigns.
- Lead cross-functional team discussions for assigned indications, ensuring alignment around strategy and activity planning.
- Manage the brand budget for assigned indications.
Profile :
You are passionate about marketing, science, and people!
University degree in Life Sciences or a related healthcare disfcipline.Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the healthcare industry .Experience in marketing or project management is preferred.Previous oncology experience and / or scientific knowledge in oncology i s a MUST.Ability to work autonomously and take accountability for your portfolio.Strong collaborator with a team-player mindset, able to guide cross-functional teams and align around regional strategy.Can-do attitude with excellent project management, problem-solving, analytical, and execution skills.Strong oral and written communication skills in English, Dutch, and / or French are required.
Practicalities :
This is a 1-year contract position with the possibility of extension. The role is hybrid, with 2-3 days per week in the Brussels office and the option to work from home for the remaining days.
