Responsibilities

  • You balance forecasts with the required capacities across different sites to meet demand while maximizing financial and non-financial objectives.
  • You manage and optimize working capital (inventory).
  • You simulate various S&OP scenarios and present proposals to stakeholders (operations, sales, purchase, product management, and finance).
  • You coordinate S&OP meetings within a cross-functional team setup.

Demand Management

  • You create and manage demand forecasts, translating them to monthly base and statistical forecasts.
  • You conduct monthly review forecast cycles together with the sales directors, providing guidance and coaching to ensure a continuous improvement cycle.
  • You prepare and coordinate monthly consensus forecast meetings.

    • Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP)

  • You deliver forecasts into required capacities per production site.

    • Furthermore, you integrate a continuous feedback cycle into your domains of responsibility by further implementing forecasting, RCCP, and S&OP processes across different sites and product groups. You develop an agile model to proactively detect and address bottlenecks. You establish a framework for S&OP 2.0 / 3.0 and integrate forecasting and S&OP into the new ERP program SAP (both PPDS in phase 1 and IBP in phase 2), taking on a BPO role in our planned ERP integration.
