Master Data Analyst

Reporting to the Global Master Data Manager , the primary responsibility of this role is to support the accuracy, setup, and maintenance of the company’s master data. You will ensure data quality and integrity across business applications, including the ERP system.

In this role, strong analytical skills are essential to understand and execute business data requirements.

The Data Management Analyst must understand the importance of data quality across the organization, including aspects such as information lifecycle management, data modeling, master data management, and gathering business requirements.

You will work with various ERP systems such as JDE, Mapics, Navision, and Business Central, as well as workflow and invoice automation tools like Bottomline, Datahaven, and Inspyrus.

Where needed, you will collaborate with various departments across both business and IT functions.

Detailed Job Responsibilities

Analysis (70%)

• Execute master data setup and configurations within ERP systems.
• Coordinate data requests and ensure compliance with data quality standards.
• Analyze business requests for accuracy and alignment with company policies.
• Monitor data quality, perform cleansing activities, and identify process improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with business teams to provide data-driven insights and support the resolution of master data issues.

Profiel kandidaat

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Computer Science / Programming

Preferred certifications in Data Analytics or Power BI Data Analyst

At least 5 years of relevant professional experience

Skills & Knowledge

Strong proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel

Experience with ERP systems such as JDE

Previous experience in data governance or similar roles

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Outstanding communication skills
