What you do – Track from A to B
- You operate freight trains.
- You prepare your locomotive, couple it to the cargo, and ensure its care throughout the journey.
- You get hands-on with tasks like brake tests, inspections, and emergency procedures.

Who you are – Experienced train driver
Profile A : You have certificates for driving freight trains on the Belgian and / or German, French and Dutch network
Profile B : You have certificates for driving passenger trains on the Belgian and / or German, French and Dutch network with ambition to be trained to carry freight trains.
Profile C : You have certificates for driving trains in the port areas of Belgium (shunting).

A permanent employment contract.The minimum salary is €3,400 per month. The wages depend on your knowledge and years of experience. Your salary increases every three years. You will also receive holiday pay and a 13th monthCompany car with fuel card.Scheduling : Your work schedule is determined according to planned periods. Changes are made in consultation. For unexpected tasks, you receive a bonus. You also receive compensation for shift work. Your daily rest time is at least 14 hours (at home) or 9 hours (when staying overnight in a hotel). You are entitled to 114 rest days per year, of which 24 are double rest days, and 12 of these double days (one per month) fall on the weekend (between Friday 10 p.m. and Monday 6 a.m.). A rest day lasts a minimum of 38 hours.Skills premiums : At Lineas, we encourage your personal growth. The more you learn and can do, the higher your salary.
