Full‑Stack .NET Developer – Gas Flow Management Platform
Duration : Immediate start; initial 3‑month contract with strong potential for extension
Setup : Freelance (Daily rate / Limited Company / Umbrella / Sole Trader)
Location : Brussels (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Join a cross‑functional, agile team designing and enhancing end‑to‑end digital solutions across the gas flow management lifecycle : customer onboarding, contracting, demand processing, flow planning, network balancing, billing, reporting and B2B messaging. You’ll shape a scalable, robust platform that underpins transmission, storage and terminalling for multiple European TSOs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain high‑quality software components using .NET 8 / .NET Framework with ASP.NET Web API and WCF
- Translate business requirements in collaboration with product owners and analysts into clean, testable code
- Contribute to architectural discussions around Domain‑Driven Design, Clean Architecture and established design patterns
- Implement and maintain automated tests (xUnit, NUnit) and integrate CI / CD pipelines via Azure DevOps
- Review peers’ code, mentor junior developers and uphold coding standards
- Support release activities : technical documentation, deployments, incident investigation and live‑environment troubleshooting
- Participate fully in Agile ceremonies : sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, retrospectives and daily stand‑ups
