Fertilizers Europe, a leading association in the fertilizer industry, is seeking a Trade and Economics trainee to support the Trade and Economics team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain professional experience in a dynamic and international environment in the heart of Brussels. Fertilizers Europe represents the interests of the European fertilizer industry. We are the source of information on fertilizers and the sector's voice in Europe. We deal with questions related to agriculture, environment, technology, safety, economy and trade, as well as supporting our members with statistics and other information. This contract can ONLY be given to someone coming out from a European school / University as a first working experience. Deadline to apply : 23 July 2023 - Starting date : 4 September 2023 Duration : 6 months (according to Belgian law) Employment type : Full time Working place : EU area in Brussels What we offer :

What do we expect from you?

  • Data reports to assist reports on fertilizer markets
  • Regular update market and intelligence reports and data working with members
  • Collaborate with other analysts on research and articles
  • Participate in various working committees and / or projects

    • Education, Skills & Competencies

  • Degree in Economics or Statistics with relevant European university qualification understanding of statistical issues and data management
  • Excel superuser
  • Fluent English written and spoken
  • Fluency in other European languages an advantage

    • Your personality :

  • Ability to work independently and take initiatives, but also a team player, able to cooperate with team members
  • Organized and structured mind to deal with large quantities of work and strict deadlines
  • Ability to communicate and work in a multicultural environment
