Senior Project Engineer

Now, we are looking for a Senior Project Engineer in our office in Belgium. As Project Manager of IPS, you will have the responsibility for the planning and management in a wide range of projects, ranging from small improvements to large projects.

The management of your project can include multiple phases and / or specialization :

• Project feasibility : process description, plant layout, overall Time Schedule, procurement Strategy, financial plan
• Project preparation phase : investment analysis, basic engineering, permitting, financing and procurement.
• Project realization phase : project management; detailed engineering, construction management, commissioning management, operational management

What is the role about? Your role will be to team up with the International Business Unit Manager and the Business Unit Manager for Belgium. Together, we want IPS to become the leader in Life Science Engineering, executing our Projects in BIM, with the best available Project Management tools and engineering technology.

The project manager supervises the daily operations and activities of the project such as project scheduling, resource allocations, and project budget. They ensure technical alignment on a variety of equipment, facilities, utilities, components, products, and systems for a diverse client base of biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical device, cell & gene therapy manufacturers. They maintain and oversee the complete project process, prepare status reports to top management, and assure that files are on schedule to meet the targets defined for the projects. They also establish appropriate metrics for measuring key project criteria.
