Cashier (6 months 30h / week) - Antwerpen

Cashiers are the face of the company and represent Ria in the community, therefore our Cashiers will provide an exceptional customer service and maximise the business potential of the Money Transfer and Foreign Currency Exchange. We are looking for a Cashier (6 months contract, part time 30h / week) for our store in Antwerpen.

• Provide an excellent customer service
• Process currency exchange, money transfer operations with speed and accuracy
• Check your till
• Open / close the point of sale
• Resolve orders incidences working together with Customer Service department
• Comply with internal security and compliance rules (anti-money laundering regulations)
• Cash handling experience is necessary (supermarket or in other retail business)
• Customer orientation and good interpersonal skill
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including some Saturdays
• Speaking fluently English and an intermediate level of Dutch
• Knowledge in other languages is a plus : Urdu, Tagalog / Filipino, Farsi, Spanish…
• Some computer knowledge
• Living in Antwerpen or surroundings is preferred

Your positive attitude and effective communication skills will be essential to work alongside your team members and create outstanding services for the customers.

We offer a 6-month part time contract (30h, 4 days a week), contract may become permanent later.

There is a fixed salary (depending on your experience), a monthly commission (up to 475€) and some benefits (8€ meal voucher per working day, public transport card, insurance…).

Our store in Antwerpen is opened from Monday to Saturday from 8h45 to 20h.
