Information Systems Testing Specialist

Duration : 120 days. Freelance contract,

Start Date : ASAP

Location : Hybrid in Brussels, Belgium (2-3 days / week)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Information Systems Testing Specialist (TES) – Level 5 to join our EEAS DevOps team. You’ll play a key role in test planning, execution, automation, and reporting within complex IT projects. You must be fully operational from day one, bringing excellent communication skills and hands-on expertise in testing tools and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and develop test plans, test cases, and scenarios for complex applications.
  • Execute and coordinate comprehensive testing activities, including automated tests.
  • Maintain and develop test scripts and test data to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Report and document test results and defects clearly and promptly.
  • Assist in the deployment and configuration of testing environments and tools.

Required Knowledge & Skills

  • Advanced knowledge of testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Soap UI, NeoLoad).
  • Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
  • Strong understanding of development environments and relational databases.
  • Familiarity with OWASP Top Ten and web application security best practices.

    • Security Clearance : EU SECRET or equivalent (mandatory). The clearance process will start and be completed once the contract begins.
