Implementation and Deployment : Building, deploying, and configuring cloud resources, setting up services like virtual machines, databases, and networking.
Security and Compliance : Ensuring robust security practices, implementing identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and adhering to regulatory standards.
Performance Optimization : Monitoring cloud environments to optimize speed, reliability, and cost, often through resource scaling and load balancing.
Automation : Using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation to automate provisioning, configuration, and management of infrastructure.
Cost Management : Analyzing and managing cloud costs, optimizing resource allocation to reduce unnecessary expenditures.
Monitoring and Troubleshooting : Ensuring availability and performance through monitoring tools, responding to incidents, and troubleshooting issues promptly.
Cloud Platforms : Proficiency with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and familiarity with specific services within each.
Scripting and Automation : Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell, and experience with automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Jenkins.
Networking : Understanding of VPCs, load balancers, firewalls, and general networking principles.
Security : Skills in cloud security practices, IAM, network security, encryption, and compliance with frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
DevOps Practices : Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).
Monitoring and Logging : Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog) and logging solutions for tracking and troubleshooting issues.
Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills : The ability to diagnose, analyze, and solve complex cloud infrastructure challenges.
