At Equans, you’ll own the entire IT governance and process landscape, turning vision into structure. As Head of IT Processes, Governance and PMO, you’ll sit at the core of the Belux IT organisation, reporting directly to the CIO. With a team of 15 to 20 people, you’ll define and drive the IT governance frameworks and processes that make our IT run smarter, faster, and better.
From Brussels, you’ll work closely with internal stakeholders across our various Equans sites, ensuring processes are not only defined, but also embraced and embedded. You have a proactive approach into managing IT processes, policies, and compliance to optimize efficiency, mitigate risks, and support business goals.
As Head of IT Processes, Governance and PMO, you will :
develop, implement, and maintain robust IT governance frameworks, policies, and procedures. The main processes in scope are ITIL processes and IT Investment processlead the review, the re-design (where needed), the documentation, implementation, and continuous improvement of IT processes to ensure maximum efficiency and effectivenessensure IT operations are always in compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practicesconduct reviews of IT processes and governance practices to ensure continuous improvementestablish and rigorously monitor metrics and KPIs to ensure optimum performance of IT processescollaborate with senior management and external partners when neededidentify, assess, and mitigate IT-related risks with a proactive mindsetprovide comprehensive training and support to IT staff on governance and process management, fostering a culture of excellencedefine the right application landscape and implementation roadmapbusiness stakeholder towards IT & in charge of the business requirements regarding digitalisation of our IT processes & governancevalidate solutions and provide the right level of end user documentationensure effective project & service management governance and resource allocation of Project Managerslead the PMO team and the Project Managers to deliver projects on time, within scope, and budgetProfile You’re a great match if you have :
a Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field experiencerelevant certifications such as ITIL, COBIT, PMI or Prince2at least 10 years of experience in IT governance, process management or PMO, including 5+ years in a leadership roleexperience with ServiceNow (strong asset)a strong understranding of IT governance frameworks, tooling and best practicesknowledge of compliance and regulatory standards (a plus)excellent project management, communication and organisational skillsthe ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholdersstrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.fluency in English and in at least one of the Belgian national languages (Dutch or French)And on a personal level, you are :
