At Residence Inn by Marriott Ghent, we are looking for a Hotel Sales Manager to be the commercial face of our hotel. You’ll communicate our story compellingly to companies, travel and event organizations, build strong relationships, seize opportunities, and collaborate with a top-tier team. A behind-the-scenes look at your role

You develop and execute proactive sales strategies, build solid relationships, and seize commercial opportunities.

You track market trends, identify new clients, and organize memorable tours and presentations.

You align with the operational team to deliver on your promises and ensure a consistent guest experience.

You also collaborate with colleagues from other Marriott hotels in Ghent and across the cluster.

Lastly, you regularly report your results and insights to management.

Who are we looking for?

You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, economics, tourism, hotel management, or a related field.

You have several years of experience in sales, preferably in the hospitality sector.

You speak fluent Dutch and good English. An additional language like French, German, or Spanish is a plus.

You are comfortable with digital tools and systems that support sales processes such as CRM software, property management systems (PMS), reporting tools, and online communication platforms. You easily switch between email, video calls, social media, and other digital channels to engage with clients and maintain relationships.

About us

Residence Inn Ghent by Marriott is a spacious extended-stay hotel with 105 rooms, located in the Akkerhage business center and opened in 2019. It’s a privately owned Marriott brand and part of a group of three - soon to be four - Marriott hotels in Ghent. Our neighbors include the Holiday Inn Express & Suites and the upcoming Courtyard (opening in October), with the Marriott Ghent in the city center.

We are looking for someone to fully focus on proactive sales for our hotel and help grow our Residence Inn family.

Our location is easily accessible no matter where you're coming from. Residence Inn Ghent by Marriott is located at Akkerhage 2A, 9000 Ghent, right off exit 9 ( Ghent) on the E17.

Coming by car? We offer spacious parking.
