Senior Industrial Cybersecurity Consultant (SME)
The role focuses on overseeing security aspects of industrial projects, particularly during procurement and implementation phases. The consultant will work closely with system and project owners to perform due diligence when purchasing new equipment, ensuring compliance with internal IT security requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Play an active role in process and technology improvement initiatives (knowledge base, lessons learned, internal improvement projects, knowledge transfer, etc.)
- Manage and track activities that enhance the security of industrial projects
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with all personnel involved in the projects, especially IT system owners
- Work with IT system owners and subject matter experts to design and validate good-practice security solutions for industrial systems
- Oversee project deliverables, identify risks and escalations, monitor scope and budget
- Capture and report weekly project status, including completed and planned activities
- Provide proactive communication and regular project reports for IT management and steering committees
