High Voltage Electrical Engineer – Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)

Antwerp | 🔄 Hybrid (2–3 days onsite) | 🕒 12-month contract

We’re supporting the design and engineering of a greenfield battery storage facility —a flagship energy transition project in Belgium. To strengthen our delivery capability, we’re looking for a freelance High Voltage Electrical Engineer to join the team ahead of a major project kickoff this summer.

Why this role exists :

A large-scale storage facility is entering the engineering phase

We need senior HV design expertise to support early delivery

Internal teams are at capacity due to parallel infrastructure projects

This role will provide dedicated hands-on support across disciplines

In this role, you'll :

Deliver HV and MV design using industry-standard tools

Work closely with instrumentation, civil, and SCADA teams

Own documentation, calculations, and technical support

Act as a key technical contributor during early-stage development
