Senior Process Engineer

Our innovative client in Belgium is currently searching for a Senior Process Engineer to join the silicon photonics team. The role will involve developing and improving post processing techniques on silicon platforms. Validating and executing bonding technologies and dry etching process for silicon photonics will be required. Providing support to engineering teams in packaging processes for silicon photonic devices will also be part of the role. A certain amount of travel will be required for this role.

Required skills for the Senior Process Engineer will include :

• Strong semiconductor technology and manufacturing experience
• Silicon photonics chip bonding knowledge and dry etching experience
• Strong communication skills and ability to travel
• Degree in Material Science, Physics or equivalent
