Your Mission
As a Cybersecurity Engineer, your role will be to analyze, define, and validate cybersecurity solutions for railway signalling systems. You will ensure that our solutions comply with industry standards, regulations, and security best practices while meeting customer requirements.
Key responsibilities
Cybersecurity Risk Assessment & Architecture
- Perform security risk analysis on railway sub-systems and define mitigation strategies
- Define secure architectures and specify cybersecurity requirements for system components
- Identify where cybersecurity barriers should be implemented at the system level
- Ensure security risk reduction measures through process implementation and organisation change
- Align with European regulations and industry standards
Technical Analysis & Solution Validation
Work closely with system, software, and safety engineers to integrate cybersecurity principles into solutionsValidate cybersecurity implementations through documentation, installation report and test case review, and security analysisExplain cybersecurity requirements to subsystem teams and ensure proper follow-upContribute to cybersecurity testing and validation strategies, ensuring system resilienceStakeholder Coordination & Documentation
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align cybersecurity strategies across projectsProduce clear and structured cybersecurity documentation, including security cases and compliance reportsWhat We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
Engineering degree (BAC+5) in Cybersecurity, electricity (Telecommunications or automatic), informatic or related fieldsUnderstanding of cybersecurity principles, risk assessment methodologies, and secure system designOpen to recently graduatedKey Skills & Competencies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work on cybersecurity topics across networks, architecture, governance, and system hardeningExperience with security frameworks, risk analysis, and technical documentationExcellent communication and ability to explain cybersecurity concepts to non-specialistsFluent in English, proficiency in French, German, or Italian is a plusNice-to-Have :
Knowledge of railway signalling systems or other safety-critical industries is an assetUnderstanding of security validation processes and governanceFamiliarity with cybersecurity regulations and compliance requirements in transportationMobility & Work Environment
