Gentis is currently looking for an Accounting Manager on behalf of a leading insurance company well-established in the Belgian market

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team managing accounting & admin for Life and Non-Life reinsurance.
  • Oversee closings (premiums, claims, reserves, deposits).
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, cash collection, and financial reporting.
  • Support compliance with Solvency II & IFRS.
  • Align with departments like Risk and Controlling.

Profile

  • 2-3 years of experience in project, data, or process management.
  • Background in accounting, controlling, and / or administration.
  • Solid knowledge of Non-Life insurance (Life is a plus).
  • Proficient in tools like Power BI, SAS, R, or Python. + IFRS
  • Fluent in French or Dutch, with a good command of English.
