About the Role
The Advocacy and Engagement Advisor is responsible for positioning amfori on ESG Due Diligence policy topics. You are the voice of sustainable business and contribute to shape a policy environment where our members can thrive. Because together we are stronger, you foster positive collaborations with policy makers and stakeholders to amplify our messages.
Your Responsibilities will include :
Strategy implementation :
- Identify, monitor and analyse relevant advocacy issues
- Promote amfori tools by establishing a strong connection between amfori services and relevant advocacy topic
- Management of webinars and support to events aligned with our business strategy
Member engagement :
Engage and raise members’ awareness about key advocacy topicsDefine amfori position on policy topicsInfluencing :
Build constructive relationships with policy makers and stakeholders and strategic alliances to influence ESG policies and amplify messagingDevelop impactful advocacy campaigns and identify opportunities to speak and represent amforiContinuous Improvement :
Contribute to product development by feeding a strategic Advocacy and Engagement expertise (trends)Your Profile :
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Political Sciences, or a related field.Interest in Sustainability, Human rights and CSR themes.5-8 years previous experience in related companies or associations.Previous experience in analyzing and influencing Due Diligence policiesSupply Chain knowledge is an assetGerman or Dutch speaking skills are an assetStrong analytical and research skills.Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to issue resolution.Public speakingAbility to work independently and handle sensitive matters with discretion.Successful track record in project managementYour Package :
