Program Manager – Mortgages / Loans Integration | Financial Services – Brussels

A financial services client in Brussels is seeking a Program Manager with deep expertise in the Mortgages / Loans domain to lead a critical customer onboarding and integration program. This is a long-term freelance mission with high visibility across business and technical stakeholders.

The organization is currently onboarding two new customers and requires a specialist Program Manager to structure and execute the full integration into their systems. This role involves close collaboration with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless delivery and alignment with business objectives.

This role requires a strong understanding of mortgages and loans products, lifecycle, and regulatory requirements, combined with hands-on program management skills to drive complex integration efforts from initiation to completion.

Role :

  • Lead the end-to-end program for onboarding and integrating new mortgage / loan customers
  • Coordinate efforts across multiple internal departments and external suppliers
  • Prepare and facilitate governance forums including SteerCo and senior management updates
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define deliverables, and translate needs into actionable plans
  • Produce clear documentation, status reports, and communication materials for all levels of the organisation
  • Manage program risks, dependencies, and ensure milestones are met on time
  • Act as a subject matter expert in the mortgages / loans domain to guide integration decisions and resolve issues

Requirements :

  • 8+ years’ experience managing complex programs in financial services, with a focus on mortgages and / or loans
  • Proven track record of leading customer onboarding and system integration projects
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including experience engaging with executive-level sponsors
  • Hands-on approach with attention to detail in documentation, planning, and delivery
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of French or Dutch is a strong advantage
