Looking for a role where your engineering skills truly matter? Our client is seeking a mid- to senior-level Project Engineer to join their team as the technical lead for an exciting new project.
In this hands-on and operational role, the engineer will be responsible for the technical implementation of product packaging, including defining requirements, setting up new lines if needed, selecting vendors and equipment, conducting technical negotiations, resolving equipment issues, and potentially visiting vendors.
Your mission :
- Define, secure, and improve existing and new processes and projects.
- Implement projects and process improvements within defined budgets.
- Develop feasibility studies for investments and the introduction of new technologies.
- Support the development of validation protocols.
- Execute validation protocols in consultation with the quality department.
- Participate in cost estimate requests and propose alternative solutions in collaboration with engineers, project coordinators, and the manager.
- Coordinate and optimize the assigned packaging lines technically and practically, fostering further development and efficient operation in collaboration with fellow engineers.
- Develop operational parameters (line speed, performance, changeover times, etc.) and monitor and adjust these to achieve set standards.
- Conduct problem analyses and develop improvement actions together with other engineers.
- Document (new) processes through process descriptions, URSs, FAT / SAT, setup and operating instructions, preventive maintenance guidelines, troubleshooting schemes, training plans, validations, and more.
What about you :
Technical engineering degree or equivalent through experience.Experience with equipment on the manfuacturing floor, FAT , SAT, URS’s, secondary packiging equipment experience is a big plus ( not lookign for HVAC, piping, Construction)Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a production environment. Experience in the pharmaceutical or chemical industry is a strong asset.Familiar with GMP guidelines, pharmaceutical regulations, hygiene standards, etc.Experience with quality systems, procedures, and training.Fluent in Dutch and EnglishStrong analytical and solution-oriented mindset.Why join us :
