Description de posteBachelor's in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent experience. Strong understanding of Windows, Linux, internet technologies, and network protocols. Experience with Splunk Enterprise Security is a must. Proficiency with query languages (e.g., SPL, KQL). Experience in a SOC environment is a strong plus. Cloud exposure (Azure, AWS, GCP) is highly valued. Strong communication skills, integrity, and a team-oriented mindset. Fluent in English (French and / or Dutch is a plus). You must have full rights as a Belgian citizen or have resided in Belgium for 5–10 years .

Are you passionate about cybersecurity and driven by data? We're looking for a Data Cyber Security Consultant to join a dynamic and centralized Cyber Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) supporting critical operations in Belgium.
Your Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with application and engineering teams on log ingestion tasks.
- Validate log content ingested into the SIEM.
- Co-develop and enhance monitoring use cases with the Cyber Defense Center and Threat Intel teams.
- Represent CSIRT in stakeholder meetings to ensure the right logs are captured.
- Create dashboards and reports to enhance visibility.
- Support blue team activities during red team exercises.
