As a Microsoft Defender Specialist, you are responsible for the ongoing development, configuration,

implementation and technical support of Microsoft Defender XDR. In close collaboration with a dedicated team of IT professionals, you guarantee seamlessly secure operation of our environment.

What are you going to do?

  • Implement and optimize Microsoft Defender's server hardening features, such as ASR rules

and Credential Guard, on Windows and Linux backend servers via Microsoft Endpoint

Manager (Intune).

  • Act as the go-to expert for colleagues, supporting Microsoft Defender XDR and Microsoft

    • Endpoint Manager for security questions, including teams using our backend infrastructure

    for critical applications such as banking applications.

  • Collaborate with diverse teams, such as the Cyber Défense Centre, for seamless integration

    • and continuous management of advanced security features.

  • Actively monitor and report on the effectiveness of security measures, with a focus on

    • threat identification and implementation of proactive solutions.

  • Rapidly and efficiently resolve Microsoft Defender XDR-related issues, including

    • performance and functionality challenges, to strengthen the overall security infrastructure.

    What do we expect from you?

  • A minimum HBO working and thinking level.
  • Extensive, demonstrable experience in implementing and managing Microsoft Defender

    • XDR.

  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server administration and security.
  • Demonstrated experience working with the Microsoft Endpoint Manager (MDE) and

    • Microsoft Defender XDR (MDE) portal and other relevant tools.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Strong communication skills in Dutch, including the ability to document and present

    • technical information clearly and effectively.

  • In possession of SC-900 certification and preference for SC-200, SC-100 and / or MD-102
