Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Automation Engineer to support infrastructure teams by streamlining operations through automation. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with Unix systems, Ansible, and automation in complex environments. You will contribute to increased operational efficiency by automating repetitive and time-consuming tasks across technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

Identify automation opportunities based on frequency and effort of tasks

Develop and deploy automation scripts and workflows using Ansible

Collaborate with other technical specialists to capture automation requirements

Utilize the Ansible Automation Platform as the preferred tool

Follow ITIL-aligned processes (Change Management, Transition, etc.)

Support process standardization and maintain technical documentation

Required Skills and Experience

Minimum of 4 years experience in managing Unix / Linux systems in large-scale environments

Advanced Linux (RHEL 7 / 8 / 9) user with proven automation expertise

Proficiency in Ansible (mandatory); experience with Ansible Automation Platform is a strong advantage

Experience with Python scripting is beneficial

Basic understanding of VMware, databases, or network principles is a plus

Bachelors degree in IT or a related field

Strong organizational and communication skills

Fluent in both French and English
