A Day in the Life

We are seeking a strategic and proactive professional to drive our organizations engagement in external research fundingparticularly through Horizon Europe and other EU collaborative programs.

In this role you will act as the bridge between our internal scientific teams and the external funding ecosystem helping to identify opportunities build consortia and develop winning proposals that align with our research priorities and innovation strategy.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned :

Identify evaluate and prioritize relevant EU and national funding opportunities (e.g. Horizon Europe IMI / IHI EIT Health national innovation grants)

Develop and maintain a strategic funding roadmap aligned with the organizations research and innovation agenda

Support leadership in shaping long-term collaborations with funding bodies universities and industry partners

Coordinate and manage the end-to-end submission process for funding proposals from call identification to final submission

Support scientists and project leaders in structuring proposals preparing narratives impact sections budgets and partner documentation

Required Knowledge and Experience :

Masters degree or PhD in a relevant field (Science Engineering Health or related discipline)

Minimum 5 years of experience in EU funding management preferably Horizon Europe or Horizon 2020

Proven track record in coordinating or writing successful research proposals

Excellent understanding of EU research frameworks consortium building and grant regulations

Strong communication and stakeholder management skillsable to engage scientists and external partners effectively
