We're recruiting a Production Manager on a permanent contract in Tubize!

Contract : Permanent

Location : Tubize, weekday schedule

Responsibilities : production, team management, safety, quality, and hygiene.

Team management : oversight of 10 production operators.

We are looking for a Production Manager who is responsible for workshop production and coordinates a team while considering deadlines, safety, hygiene, and quality.

You are responsible for a good dozen production operators.

Your mission?

  • Coordinates and supervises the work of production operators
  • Manages and supervises production according to schedules, ensures their monitoring and is responsible for the yields and quality of the manufactured products
  • Manage the team's schedule and approve their hours
  • Ensure the supply of raw materials according to the schedules
  • Oversees the manufacturing process as well as hygiene and safety regulations, ensuring adherence to operating procedures
  • Check the compliance of manufactured products
  • Ensure compliance with the internal regulations
  • Ensure the proper functioning of the production lines so that costs, deadlines, and product quality are optimal
  • Handle the unexpected
  • Analyze malfunctions (incident, accident, non-compliance) and propose action plans to make production tools more reliable. He monitors performance indicators and participates in reporting.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement process in consultation with the operators
  • Oversee the adjustment of the equipment and ensure proper maintenance of the devices
  • Check the validity of traceability information in the management system
  • Ensure adherence to FIFO
  • Participate in manufacturing trials
  • Organize team meetings

Your skills?

  • Proven experience in the food industry
  • Enjoys working in a team and has good interpersonal skills. Demonstrates adaptability to situations and people
  • Achieves convincing results through planning, motivation, and coaching of their team
  • He enjoys being on the field and participating in production tasks. Observation and analysis skills
  • Rigorous and methodical, he demonstrates great organizational skills
  • Capable of providing a high level of engagement
  • He is autonomous and must be responsive to unforeseen situations in order to solve problems as quickly as possible. He knows how to manage priorities and make the necessary decisions swiftly. He is resilient to stress.
  • Interest in technology (machines) - First maintenance
  • Good knowledge of computer tools, ERP, Excel, Outlook
  • Listening skills. Plays a driving and unifying role within the team.
