We are looking for a Boost Unit Assistant proactive and with great organizational skills to join our team in Brussels, Belgium.

About the role

As a Boost Unit Assistant, you will act as a key partner to the assigned mission head(s), providing critical support to enhance efficiency and ensure high standards of quality, accuracy, and cost awareness. Your role involves proactively anticipating the manager’s needs, applying best practices, and fostering operational excellence. A strong enthusiasm to learn, understand team priorities, and address key issues effectively is essential for success in this position.

Who you’ll work with

You will join a dynamic team of four dedicated assistants who are deployed on various missions within the UCB HQ. Our Boost Unit is known for its strong team spirit, providing essential support to different teams across the organization. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with diverse groups, contributing to a positive and productive work environment. What you’ll do

  • Develop knowledge of UCB’s Patient Value Strategy, objectives, products, and ways of working.
  • Manage agendas, correspondence, and priorities to maintain efficient and productive workflows.
  • Organize meetings, events, and travel, ensuring seamless logistics and compliance.
  • Follow up on projects, track deliverables, and support virtual and team initiatives.
  • Create and manage documents, reports, and workflows using SharePoint and OneDrive.
  • Monitor budgets, process purchase orders, and ensure accurate and timely expense reporting.
  • Engage with team members, support onboarding, and organize team-building activities.

Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills

  • Confident assistant with self-awareness and proactive task completion skills.
  • An excellent level both spoken and written English is required. Other languages are nice to have.
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities for effective, timely, and independent outputs.
  • Excellent communicator, fostering collaboration with management, teams, and business partners.
  • Proficient in MS Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Word; adapts quickly to new systems.
  • Experience with and / or strong interest into digital / a.i are welcome (e.g. Copilot)
  • Resilient, adaptable to change, and capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Motivated team player with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn and improve.
