Amaris Consulting is looking for a .NET Technical Lead to join our team in Brussels under a permanent contract and take ownership of key software development projects. You’ll play a pivotal role in leading development teams, shaping technical solutions, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable applications for our clients.

🔥 Your Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of developers in the design, development, and delivery of .NET based solutions.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and best practices to ensure code quality and team performance.
• Oversee and participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and stakeholders to define technical roadmaps.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable applications using C# and the .NET ecosystem.
• Translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Identify opportunities for technical improvements, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Lead DevOps initiatives on the project, with key responsibilities around cloud infrastructure management (e.g., Azure) and automation using Terraform.
• Ensure adherence to DevOps and Agile practices across development cycles.

🎯 Your Profile:

• You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• You have 7+ years of experience in software development, including 2+ years in a leadership role or coaching role.
• Strong expertise in .NET Core, C#, and related frameworks (ASP.NET, Blazor).
• Solid knowledge of software architecture principles, design patterns, and development of RESTful APIs.
• Proven experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker, and familiarity with Kubernetes is a plus.
• Experience working with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, especially Terraform.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices (Azure DevOps or similar).
• Comfortable working in Agile environments, with experience leading technical ceremonies (sprint planning, retrospectives, etc.).
• Excellent communication, mentoring, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English and French (spoken and written); knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
• Willing and available to work on-site in Brussels.
