I am currently working with a market leading Industrial / Construction Organisation based in Belgium. They are looking for an experienced Azure Data Engineer who has experience working with ERP systems to help them centralise multiple different ERP systems into one master system.

As their company grows, they are centralizing multiple ERP systems into Microsoft Dynamics 365 . They need a hands-on ERP Data Migration Specialist to take full ownership of the end-to-end migration process , ensuring smooth data integration across the group.

This freelance role is available immediately , with the potential to train and transition knowledge to a permanent hire in the future.

Job Details :

Role : Azure Data Engineer

Rate : Circa €500 DOE

Location : Ghent (Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities :

Lead the full data migration process to Microsoft Dynamics 365.
Assess legacy ERP systems, define migration requirements, and ensure data integrity.
Work with Azure technologies ( ETL tools, Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks ) for data transformation.
Collaborate with the ERP team ( PM, Business Analysts, Solution Architect, Developer ) to keep projects on track.
Support Power BI integration for future reporting needs.
Train and transition knowledge to a permanent team member when hired.

Key Requirements :

Proven experience in ERP data migration, ideally with Microsoft Dynamics 365 .

Strong Azure expertise ( Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, ETL tools ).

Analytical mindset with a hands-on, problem-solving approach.

Experience in international, multi-entity environments managing multiple projects.

Fluent in English (Dutch also preferred).

Contract Details :

Freelance contract with immediate start .

Potential transition to a permanent role (less technical focus).
