Introductie
We are currently helping our client in their search for a Network Design Engineer.
Functie
- Designing and implementing new network solutions and / or improving the efficiency of current networks. Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS and DHCP
- Network Infrastructure Design Role (Network Readiness for Operations)
- Ensure alignment with IT Operations standards
- Hardware (Manufacturer, model, firmware) (e.g. Cisco, …)
- Software (version / patch level)
- Configuration standards (naming, access credentials, parameters)
- Receive handover from project team (many small handovers)
- Manage IP schema
- 3rd level operations support during Construction
- Monitoring
- Support SIP activities (operations)
