Design Engineer Génie Civil Senior

Mission

As a Design Engineer, you carry out project studies, lead draftsmen in the preparation of plans, assist in the development of work schedules and phasing, draft the technical aspects of specifications, and provide technical support or follow‑up during execution. Your goal is to ensure that the infrastructure to be built or adapted meets client requirements as well as applicable standards and specifications.

You

• Study and design civil engineering structures such as bridges, viaducts, tunnels, support structures, geotechnical structures, and technical buildings at various design stages (feasibility, preliminary design, detailed study).
• Guide CAD designers in the development of detailed plans, adopting a BIM (Building Information Modeling) approach.
• Contribute to the planning and phasing of construction works.
• Analyze technical challenges and propose feasible solutions, considering budget, timeline, and execution constraints.
• Work within an interdisciplinary engineering team (environmental integration, soil mechanics, hydraulics, track design, catenary, signaling, etc.) to ensure overall project coherence.
• Draft technical clauses for specifications and provide technical assistance to on‑site teams.
• Report project progress and results to stakeholders.

Profile

• Perfect command of French with a B1 level in Dutch, or vice versa.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Office 365.
• Advanced knowledge of SCIA Engineer is a strong asset.
• Familiarity with D-sheet and geotechnical studies is a plus.
• Knowledge of Civil3D and Revit is also considered an advantage.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, a methodical approach, and autonomy.
• The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team with colleagues of varying educational backgrounds.
