Senior Onsite Support Engineer

Location : Gand

Languages : Dutch and English

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for end-users regarding IT-related incidents
  • Perform local service request tasks requiring physical presence (e.g. hardware installations)
  • Conduct troubleshooting in collaboration with remote GDC (Global Delivery Center) teams
  • Stage and install laptops and workplace equipment for new employees
  • Execute functional tests after changes in the IT environment (occasional weekend interventions may be required)
  • Support local IT projects that require on-site presence (“hands & eyes” support)

Profile

  • At least 10 years of experience in a similar end-user IT support role
  • Hands-on knowledge of :
  • Windows 10
  • Microsoft 365
  • Active Directory & Azure AD
  • Intune
  • Typical end-user management tools
  • Strong customer-oriented mindset , with the ability to work independently as well as within a team
  • Structured and proactive work approach
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English
