Mechanical Engineer (m / f / d) – Product Development
We’re looking for a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to join an innovative engineering environment focused on developing high-quality physical products from concept to production.
If you enjoy working across the full product lifecycle—design, prototyping, testing, and industrialisation—this role offers the opportunity to make a real impact.
Your Responsibilities
Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies with a focus on functionality, durability, and manufacturability
Create parametric 3D models and detailed 2D drawings (e.g. Solid Edge or similar CAD tools)
Select materials and manufacturing processes (injection moulding, sheet metal, extrusion) with cost and quality in mind
Perform and interpret simulations (structural, thermal, vibration) and optimise designs accordingly
Drive prototyping activities : coordinate with suppliers, review parts, support builds, and iterate quickly
Support product certification readiness through testing and design adjustments
Analyse field issues, implement corrective actions, and document improvements
Contribute to design-for-manufacturing (DFM) and cost optimisation during production ramp-up
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (electronics, software, industrial design)
Your Profile
2+ years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer (product development / industrialisation)
Strong experience with parametric CAD (Solid Edge preferred, equivalent tools welcome)
Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and DFM principles
Hands-on mindset with experience in prototyping, testing, and supplier coordination
Strong communication skills and a structured, proactive way of working
