Kuehne+NagelBelgiumJOB DESCRIPTION Join our international team as a Global Key Account Manager Healthcare at Kuehne+Nagel. In this strategic role, you will drive long-term partnerships with our most important global customers in the Healthcare vertical. As a commercial lead within our Global Key Account Program, you will ensure that customer expectations are met and exceeded through innovative, compliant, and high-performing supply chain solutions—spanning Air, Sea, Road, and Contract Logistics services. With your global mindset, industry knowledge, and collaborative approach, you will shape strategic initiatives that deliver measurable value, strengthen customer loyalty, and support our continued growth in one of the most critical and regulated sectors of logistics.
Your Role
As Global Key Account Manager Healthcare, you will serve as the main commercial point of contact for a portfolio of assigned global healthcare clients. You will manage the commercial relationship across all Kuehne+Nagel business units, working closely with internal stakeholders to develop customized logistics solutions that meet strict industry requirements. Your role involves balancing strategic vision with operational execution—turning customer needs into tangible business opportunities.
Your Responsibilities
- Manages Key Accounts by meeting agreed targets and customer needs, promoting the KN service portfolio in line with company guidelines.
- Understands the customer’s organization, decision-making process, business model, and competitive environment.
- Negotiates rates and service contracts aligned with Business Units (BUs), ensuring all commercial requirements are documented and maintained.
- Possesses expert knowledge of KN’s vertical service offerings and applies this to customer solutions.
- Adheres to KN sales processes and systems, ensuring accurate and timely updates in CRM / CoreLog.
- Monitors performance metrics (pipeline, RFPs, wins / losses, financial KPIs) and takes corrective action when needed.
- Develops and maintains account plans based on Key Account Planning processes, with sign-off from the sales manager.
- Conducts regular customer reviews, ensuring smooth business handover to operations, fostering continuous improvement and strategic alignment.
