They are currently looking for a Senior Accountant to join their European Support Center in North-West Brussels. Responsibilities As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the company's strategic goals. Your key responsibilities include : Ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, and year-end close). Preparing inter-company accounts and tax returns (e.g., VAT, real estate tax). Managing vendor files, payment processing, and maintaining bank records. Participating in process audits and implementing improvements. Supporting the implementation and fine-tuning of accounting systems. Collaborating with the legal department on compliance with delegation of authority. Profile A bachelor's degree in accounting. 5-8 years of experience in General Ledger & Cost Accounting, including financial statement preparation. Experience in the services or retail sector. Proficiency in VAT and GAAP processes relevant to their market. Fluency in French and professional proficiency in English (additional languages are a plus). Advanced knowledge of Excel and Microsoft applications. A team-oriented mindset, with a proactive attitude and strong problem-solving skills.
