Key Responsibilities

As a Sales Manager, you will own the entire sales cycle for enterprise clients, from lead generation to closing deals and ongoing account management. You will also lead a small team of Account Executives and be accountable for achieving key sales performance indicators (KPIs). This includes :

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation :

Identifying and qualifying potential enterprise clients through various channels, including networking, online research, and industry events.

  • Needs Analysis and Solution Development :
  • Understanding client needs and pain points, and tailoring our client solutions to meet their specific requirements.

  • Product Demonstrations and Presentations :
  • Delivering compelling product demonstrations and presentations to key decision-makers.

  • Proposal Development and Negotiation :
  • Creating and negotiating proposals, contracts, and pricing agreements.

  • Closing Deals :
  • Closing deals and achieving sales targets.

  • Account Management & Expansion :
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, driving renewals, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and expanding the use of our clientsolutions within their organizations.

  • Sales Performance Management :
  • Define, monitor, and report on key sales KPIs such as conversion rates, average deal size, sales cycle length, and revenue targets. Identify trends and implement strategies to improve team performance against these metrics.

  • Market Intelligence :
  • Staying up-to-date on market trends, competitor activities, and industry best practices.

  • Collaboration :
  • Working closely with operations, customer success, R&D, marketing and sales teams to ensure client success, contribute to product development, and align sales strategies with overall company objectives.

  • Leadership :
  • Creating an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture. Setting clear team goals and motivating team members to reach individual and team goals. This also includes taking ownership of key sales KPIs and driving the team to achieve and exceed these targets.

    Skills & Competencies

    Requirements

  • Demonstrable and significant track record of success in enterprise sales, preferably in the software or security industry, with a demonstrable understanding of and experience in managing sales KPIs.
  • Experience managing the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals, including outbound prospecting and responding to RFPs.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise sales processes and methodologies, including outbound sales strategies and RFP responses.
  • Work in tandem with the sales team to achieve and surpass sales goals and key performance indicators.
  • Proven work experience in leading a sales team, inspiring team members and motivating them to reach individual and team goals, with a focus on driving performance against defined KPIs.
  • Be a people person, happy to celebrate sales (team) successes.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., HubSpot).
  • Fluency in English (and German / French / Dutch is a plus).
  • Willingness to attend industry conferences and events to network with potential clients and partners.
  • Additional Assets

  • Existing network of contacts in relevant sectors : manufacturing industries (particularly chemical, pharma & F&B), logistics & ports, and aerospace & defense.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze sales data and derive actionable insights to improve KPI performance.
  • A proactive and results-oriented mindset with a strong focus on achieving and exceeding targets and KPIs.
  • Experience selling SaaS solutions.
  • Knowledge of access management, identity verification, or cybersecurity.
