Software Architect

As part of the Software Department, this role collaborates with requirements engineers and function owners to design and develop embedded software architecture for display modules and driving boards. The Software Architect understands hardware functionality, creates structured software designs following internal procedures, and takes ownership of assigned sub-projects with a proactive, results-driven approach.

The role involves direct technical and conceptual communication with customers and contributes to defining the department’s technical roadmap to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

Requirements

• Bachelor / Master in Electronics / Computer Science
• Minimum experience of 3 years working as a software architect for embedded systems
• Experience working in automotive sector
• Hands on experience in C++ and communication protocols
• Familiar with Assembly or sequencer instruction sets
• Knowledge of Keil uVision IDE and uPro Debugger
• Experience with Jenkins
• Experience in working according to ASPICE process
• Strong knowledge of Electronic designs
• Experience with systems like Easy Redmine and Tortoise SVN / GIT is a plus
• Must be based in Europe and willing to relocate to Belgium
• Excellent communication skills in English
