Opportunity

This is a rare leadership opening with a high-growth biotechnology innovator at a pivotal stage of development. Following a successful funding round, the company is rapidly scaling its proprietary bioengineered stem cell exosome platform to deliver first-in-class regenerative gene therapies.

We are seeking a Head of Translational Medicine who is a high-autonomy problem solver. You will be responsible for bridging the gap between innovative platform research and clinical-ready assets, moving lead programs in ARDS and Lung Cancer toward the clinic.

The Role

This is a leadership position. You will oversee a talented R&D team that includes multiple Senior Scientists, providing the strategic and technical oversight necessary to advance a complex pipeline. This role requires a professional who is equally comfortable managing a large team as they are diving into the technical details of a regulatory dossier.

The Ideal Candidate

Core Requirements (Must Have)

• Education : PhD in Molecular / Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, or related Life Sciences.
• Sector Experience : Over 5 years in Biotech / Pharma, specifically within Cell & Gene Therapy or Nanoparticle delivery systems.
• Leadership : Proven track record managing and mentoring R&D teams of at least 15–20 people.
• Regulatory Weight : Significant experience leading IND / CTA / IMPD submissions and drafting technical dossiers.
