We’re currently supporting a large Financial organisation in Belgium that’s looking to bring in an experienced freelance Data Scientist for a 12-month assignment .

This role sits within an established data environment and focuses on turning complex data into meaningful insights that support business decision‑making. You’ll work closely with both technical teams and business stakeholders in a collaborative, agile setting.

What you’ll be doing

• Analysing large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights
• Building and validating predictive and statistical models
• Collaborating with data engineers on data pipelines and feature engineering
• Translating business needs into data‑driven solutions
• Communicating insights clearly to technical and non‑technical audiences
• Continuously improving models and analytical approaches
