On behalf of our client operating in the public sector, we are looking for a Data Architect to participate in a strategic project to transform a monolithic application into microservice architecture , including the integration of external ICT modules.

You will be actively involved in addressing the challenges of migrating legacy data to a microservices-based, message-driven architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design and document data and application architectures aligned with the enterprise information system, using formal models to ensure consistency, scalability, and interoperability.
• Define canonical and domain data models, and drive the migration of legacy datasets towards microservices-based, message-driven target architectures.
• Enforce architectural principles, standards, and non-functional requirements (security, performance, resilience, compliance) across solutions.
• Provide end-to-end architectural support throughout the software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to deployment and production.
• Deliver hands‑on technical expertise to development and architecture teams across modern platforms and toolchains (Java / Spring Boot, messaging, containers, CI / CD, cloud‑native environments).
• Produce and maintain high‑quality architectural documentation and actively contribute to architecture governance bodies, design reviews, and technical steering committees.
