Front-end Engineer

As a Front-end Engineer at Basalte, you’ll design and build intuitive web and mobile applications that power our high-end smart home solutions. You’ll contribute to every step of the development process, from prototyping and testing to creating seamless user experiences across platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and document web and mobile applications across various platforms.
• Set up and maintain continuous integration pipelines and contribute to the quality assurance of new releases.
• Actively participate in the continuous improvement of our products and work processes.
• Provide feedback on new product ideas, requirements, and help define specifications.
• Develop and validate prototypes.
• Create user-friendly interfaces.

We are a perfect match if you…

• Have at least one relevant experience as a Front-end or Full-stack Developer / Engineer.
• Hold at least a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or have equivalent experience.
• Have knowledge of iOS, Android, and web apps using Angular, React, and/or Flutter.
• Are familiar with one or more of the following technologies: HTML5, JavaScript, TypeScript, Dart, Kotlin, Swift, AWS, …
• Work well within a team and can handle deadlines.
• Speak fluent Dutch or English.
