A leading international company in the chemical and manufacturing sector is looking for a Payroll Specialist to join its HR operations team in Ghent.

What You'll Do:

• Own and optimize payroll processes for Belgian operations
• Manage relationships with external payroll and benefits providers
• Administer and improve employee benefit programs
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and internal policies
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives

What You Bring:

• 5+ years of experience in Belgian payroll and benefits
• Strong knowledge of local labour laws and payroll systems
• Experience working with cross-functional teams (HR, Finance, IT)
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable handling confidential data
• Familiarity with parity rules and international payroll exposure is a plus
• Languages: Flemish and English needed
