Mechanical Engineer – Transmissions (Off-Highway)

Join Allison Transmissions Bruges as a Mechanical Engineer and contribute to innovative transmission systems for off-highway applications. You’ll be involved in the entire development cycle, from concept to validation, in an international setting with local development and production. To highlight the hands-on aspect, you’ll also work closely with our test lab.
Your responsibilities
- Design transmissions, subsystems, and components
- Perform strength, dynamics, and thermal calculations
- Select materials and integrate drivetrain components
- Conduct design reviews and DFMEAs
- Actively participate in validation and follow up on testing activities in the test lab
- Support field issues
- Drive cost optimization (VAVE)
Your profile
Master’s degree in (electro-)mechanical engineering (civil or industrial engineer)Recent graduates or candidates with limited experience welcomeStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work independentlyFluent in English; Dutch is a plusWhat we offer
