Description
Our Financial services team is looking to recruit a Junior Associate to join our Brussels office. This position offers direct exposure and ability to influence big-picture policy as well as technical regulatory and supervisory issues.

Brussels (hybrid, with a minimum of 2 days per week in the office)
Responsibilities
Conduct research and have a strong understanding of legislation and policy.Draft outreach briefings and regulatory analysis on key financial issues, taking into account broader business implications.Produce written materials, such as policy papers, press releases, presentations, client reviews, monitoring bulletins, etc.Craft narratives by distilling complex financial policy and regulatory information into tangible messaging for a variety of audiences.Draft media materials, such as press releases, talking points, media statements, and opinion pieces.Contribute to preparing and executing advocacy programs and campaigns on behalf of clients.Anticipate client needs and potential problems, effectively linking external developments to client interests, showing understanding of the client's businesses and issues.Qualifications
University degree or equivalentPrevious experience in EU public affairs, and / or in-house or consultancy experienceGood knowledge of the EU institutions and of EU decision-makingExpertise or passion for financial services policies and their regulatory environmentStrong collaboration skills and a positive, can-do attitudeExcellent English, good knowledge of other EU languages is an assetCreative and proactive, with good understanding the nature of this professionStrong organizational skills and confident proficiency in MS Office toolsStrong strategic and conceptual abilitiesWhat We Offer
