Senior Full-Stack Developer

We have an opportunity for a Senior Full-Stack Developer who will join a European Institution in Brussels (50% onsite).

DESCRIPTION OF THE TASKS

The tasks to be performed include:

• Development of front-end website.
• Development of back-end website.
• Design and develop APIs.
• Building reusable code for future use.
• Development and integration of technological components.
• Implementation of user requirements.
• Prototyping.
• Elaboration of test programs.
• Integration with other applications.
• Writing of technical documentation.
• Assistance with deployment and configuration of the system.
• Participation in meetings with the project teams.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Java 8 and Java 11 (Java 17 and above are a plus)
• Spring framework: Spring Boot, Spring Boot Test, Spring Security, Spring MVC, Validation, Hibernate/JPA
• Testing frameworks: JUnit, Mockito
• HTML5 and CSS3
• Angular and NPM
• JavaScript frameworks (Angular, jQuery, React…)
• Relational DBMS and Oracle (version 8+)
• MySQL (version 5+) is an asset
• Application servers: WebLogic, Tomcat, JBoss
• REST principles
• SOAP and Spring Web Services
• Interoperability technologies: REST, Service-Oriented Architecture, web services, message-oriented middleware, service bus
• Continuous Development / Continuous Integration, source control (Git, Bitbucket), build tools (Maven, Gradle)
• Atlassian Suite: JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo
• Agile principles
• Design principles: SOLID, IDEALS, CQRS (SAGA is a plus)
• Security frameworks/protocols: JWT, JWE, JWKS, OIDC, CAS (asset)
• Encryption and signing (asset)
• API Gateways: WSO2, Spring Cloud Gateway, Eureka/Zuul (asset)
• DevSecOps (asset)
• Kubernetes, Docker, AWS (asset)
