Training Business Analyst

Nexeo is currently looking for a Business Analyst for one of the leaders within the Energy industry in Belgium.

As Business Analyst, you will be responsible of the following tasks :

Identify and evaluate business requirements for the asset management of renewable energy systems, integrating them into the electrical grid and power markets, and facilitating renewable energy trading.

Write functional requirements documents for the specific asset management systems and the specific contract management and trading systems needed for renewable energy systems.

Write test cases that cover the same functional scope, ensuring correct implementation of the functional requirements as documented, and satisfaction of the corresponding business requirements.

Create functional documentation covering the delivered systems. It should cater to both users and support personnel, from low-level documentation to high-level documentation.

Profile

In-depth knowledge of power markets, with expertise in renewable technologies and their specificities with regard to asset management and energy trading.

Python and SQL skills with experience in software development, data science or related fields.

Familiarity with cloud tools (e.g., AWS) and relational databases.

Experience in trading or operating assets in wholesale and / or ancillary service markets is a plus
